The new name, which is subject to regulatory approvals, will take effect from May 1, thus bringing the Detroit property in line with the other 18 casinos owned by the company that feature the “Hollywood” brand. The company announced on Monday that the casino and 30-story hotel will be renamed 'Hollywood Casino at Greektown.' Detroit’s Greektown Casino-Hotel is set to undergo rebranding and a renovation process, according to property owner Penn National Gaming.
